What can I use the site for?

You may use the calculators and guides for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may link to any page. Please don’t copy large parts of the content or republish the calculators without permission.

Are the results guaranteed?

No. Every result is an estimate based on published formulas and averages for healthy animals. Real pets vary. Results aren’t a diagnosis, a treatment plan or veterinary advice. Read our medical disclaimer.

Who is responsible for decisions about my pet?

You are, together with your veterinarian. Always check with your vet before changing your pet’s diet, exercise or care, and don’t delay getting veterinary help because of something you read here.

What if my pet is sick or hurt?

Don’t use a calculator. Call your vet or an emergency animal clinic straight away. For a possible poisoning, you can also call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435 (a fee may apply).

What if something on the site is wrong?

We work hard to keep formulas and facts accurate and sourced, but mistakes can happen and science changes. Please tell us and we’ll fix it. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MyPetMath and its owner aren’t liable for any loss or harm arising from use of the site or reliance on its content.

What isn’t allowed?

• Using the site or the contact form to send spam, malware or abusive messages.
• Automated scraping or heavy traffic that slows the site down for other visitors.
• Trying to break, probe or get around the site’s security.
• Presenting our calculators or text as your own.

Who owns the content?

The text, calculators, charts and design are owned by Malik Khurram. Formulas from published sources belong to their authors and are credited on each page. Brand names mentioned on the site belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

We link to sources and other websites for your information. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Advertising

The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties; seeing an ad doesn’t mean we endorse the product. See the privacy policy for how ad cookies work.
